MWIA Bylaws

Mount Washington Improvement Association is governed by a board of directors consisting of:

Seventeen (17) at-large directors selected for three-year terms. To provide continuity in governance, the terms of the 17 directors shall be staggered so that approximately one-third of the Board is elected each year.

3 honorary directors who are the three immediate past presidents of the Association.

In early spring, a nominating committee consisting of board members and members of the community nominate a slate of board members. That slate is voted upon at the Annual Member Meeting in June.

From among the board members, the new board then elects officers who serve for one year.
