MWIA Bylaws

Mount Washington Improvement Association is governed by a board of directors consisting of:

​

  • Seventeen (17) at-large directors selected for three-year terms. To provide continuity in governance, the terms of the 17 directors shall be staggered so that approximately one-third of the Board is elected each year.

  • 3 honorary directors who are the three immediate past presidents of the Association.

  • In early spring, a nominating committee consisting of board members and members of the community nominate a slate of board members. That slate is voted upon at the Annual Member Meeting in June.

  • From among the board members, the new board then elects officers who serve for one year.

  • The structure and governance of MWIA are described in the association's bylaws.
