Giddy Up! Enjoy the company of neighbors at a MWIA Preakness Porch and Patio Party - May 16

Although the Preakness Stakes will not be run at Old Hilltop this year, Mt. Washington can still partake in the festivities!  

Wear your Preakness finest to the MWIA’s Preakness Porch & Patio Parties on Saturday, May 16 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., with a 6:45 p.m. Post Time Watch Party!  

Host or be a guest!  Either way, you will have fun enjoying the company of neighbors you know or neighbors you haven’t met before! 

Hosts will be assigned between 15-20 guests, depending on RSVPs. Hosts will receive $40 to defray the costs of supplies for the event and are responsible for providing drinks of their choosing – alcoholic beverages or non alcoholic beverages.

Guests are responsible for bringing hors d'oeuvres to serve 10 people. 

Each guest will be assigned to a party from 5:00-6:30. There is a Preakness Watch Party for everyone at 5:45 on the deck of Ellen & Jeff Spokes on their outdoor TV.  

We hope to have hosts located in each of the 7 areas of Mt. Washington. We will strive to assign you to hosts near your address however, this will be determined by the hosts who volunteer.
